As a child, I remember my mother driving around the local villages like South Petherton, Montacute, Tintinhul and our nearest town Yeovil, Somerset to show me the Christmas decorations on the houses (you always know the neighbours competing for 'who has the best display on coal lane' those ones are the best)

A Family Tradition: Christmas at Brimsmore Garden Centre, Yeovil
For over 12 years, visiting Brimsmore Garden Centre in Yeovil has been a beloved family tradition. About a decade ago, I captured a moment that still brings a smile to my face—my little nephew, a curious toddler, watching in awe as the trains circled the track in the Brimsmore Christmas winter wonderland room.
Now, in 2024, I continue this tradition with my little girl, who has taken her cousin’s place as the curious toddler, mesmerised by the festive magic.

Every year, I am blown away by the detail and care that goes into Brimsmore’s Christmas display. From the twinkling lights and festive ornaments to the beautifully arranged greenery, it’s clear that a lot of love and creativity go into crafting this winter wonderland.
